There is a message board associated with the site that can be accessed by the general public. This message board may contain information rating the specialists. 5. The referring doctor has to get the patient approval prior to using the site on their behalf. 6. The site has doctors from every region of the world. However, the search can be localized to a particular region (miles from a zip code, state/province, groups of states/provinces, country, group of countries.) 7. It also contains insurance and other medical cost related information about each doctor. The concerned doctor provides this information. 8. Finally, many High Schools in the US are participating in this web-site. The health counselors can create accounts for their student-patients. 9. This site is sponsored by a consortium of pharmaceutical companies. They may advertise their products and seek information for clinical trials through this site.
