This assignment assesses CO-3. [content page]

For this assignment, you will use a simplified DES calculator to encrypt and decrypt messages.

1. Navigate to the Simplified DES calculator [webpage]
2. Enter the 8-bit binary code: 01011010
3. Enter the 10-bit binary key: 1011010010
4. Click encrypt and copy and paste the answer into a Word document. 
5. Take the encrypted answer and enter those numbers in the 8-bit binary code.
6. Enter the 10-bit binary key: 1011010010
7. Click decrypt and enter the answer into a Word document.  

Submission Instructions:

• A Word document that contains the encrypt and decrypt results from steps 4 and 7 above.
