Write a four to five-page essay describing  a communication breakdown between yourself and another person. Get specific.  Summarize a particular conversation or detailed series of events where concepts covered related to  listening, nonverbal cues, use of language, technology (devices) channels,  cultural context or any other conceptual areas covered – could be used in explaining why communication was less effective than it could have been.  Explain how you would approach the situation now – being guided by current understandings.

   2. Discuss why you have selected the particular situation you will be discussing
       
   3. Preview the communication areas you will be using in your analysis
