Choosing a Hazard

In Weeks Three through Five, you will study a specific incident in which a real-life hazard changed the emergency management profession in some way. This week you will choose the hazard, an incident that occurred either in the United States or elsewhere in the world, for instructor approval.

To complete the Week Two Hazard Chart template(ATTACHED), you will need to:

• Name the hazard
• Include the organization impacted
• Date the hazard
• Identify the changes or development that occurred in the field of emergency management as a result of the incident
• Explain how this hazard and events surrounding it led to changes described
