  pre-referral strategies have been exhausted and the only thing left to do is to
  refer for a comprehensive evaluation?
• What are some considerations in determining
  whether or not to conduct an evaluation?
• Identify and describe five example sources of information needed to help in determining a student’s strengths and weaknesses in consideration of a referral.
• What role do universal screeners play in this
  process? List three universal screeners and what their results show.
