Read the article titled “Multilevel Readiness to Organizational Change: A Conceptual Approach”.  Give your opinion on which two (2) means of diagnosing change are most  relevant to today’s organizations. What is meant by the term  “readiness”? 

Trust Building

Building  trust is not a new concept when it comes to change in an organization.  If an organization is looking for the employee to have a positive  attitude towards environmental change the company must show the  employee’s trustworthiness,  and positivity because most work behaviors are based on communication  between the superior and subordinates. The employee feels a sense of  belonging, importance, worthiness, etc. when such information and  participation of the employee in a task to its completion. 

Trust  building will bring positive attitudes and actions on behalf of the  employee. Managers can consider involving employees in organizational  processes, such as decision-making or determination of work roles, as  this is found to

positively influence the development of trust.  (VAKOLA, 2013)
