Unseen challenges will always face a community. It is important for community leaders to be able to forecast potential challenges and create models for how to deal with these challenges when they arise. How will you deal with issues that surface? What will your response be? It is time now to think about these challenges so that you are effectively prepared for the eventuality of the challenges a community leaders will face

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this module, you will be able to:  

• Explain how locally grown food and provided energy can be used to aid economic development. 
• Create a process to deal with the impact that natural disasters could have on economic development. 
• Identify ways in which economic development will evolve in years to come.
