Individual Case Analysis Report: (ICAR)
Each student must submit a written report for the case analysis (attached below) by the due specified on the Course Schedule.

Since the case is directed with a few questions at the end, ICAR must provide answers to these questions in order with a completed Excel spreadsheet attached.  The most important aspect of the report is the effectiveness, accuracy, and consistency of the proposed solution to the problem. The grade on the report will also depend upon the grammar, style, clarity, and organization of the writing.

ICAR Format:
My preferred document type is Excel spreadsheet, where you can provide all answers to the questions in the case and fill up the Cash Flow Estimation Worksheet in one or two spreadsheets. 

If a Word document is submitted, however, please make sure that the written part of the ICAR is typewritten with double spacing and at least one inch margin on all sides of letter-size paper.  In this format, the entire ICAR including the filled-up Cash Flow Estimation Worksheet (Excel spreadsheet) and any reference worksheets must not exceed THREE pages.

Given the page constraint, it is extremely important that the report be precise.  One should avoid quoting facts from the case unless it is germane to the point under consideration; irrelevant writing will be penalized.

The ICAR should be submitted to Canvas (File Uploads) by the due date specified in the course schedule. Late reports will NOT be accepted, and reports that do not meet the format/style requirements will be given a 25% penalty.
