Sales and Operations Planning isn't as easy as it sounds, especially when you have to include your critical supply chain partners into the planning process.

For this assignment, perform a web search for companies that had problems in their S&OP development or execution.

· Write of summary of the events.

· Then, depending on the details provided by your source, discuss real problems (or if no details were provided, your thoughts on potential problems) that may arise with the components of S&OP that we discussed in this class (at a minimum: forecasting, aggregate planning, MRP, inventory management).

· Your paper should use APA format and be between 1 and 2 pages of text -- 12-point font, double-spaced. Ensure you include a title page, a very short abstract and a reference page.
