Background

Today, the roles of teams constitute a natural and expected activity in many companies and organizations. You are the Head of Human Resources for a biotech manufacturing company with offices and plants worldwide. Teams are vital in helping the organization research new products, manufacture current products, and market them. The company's CEO has asked you to develop a training program for supervisors and managers. You are asked to discuss the various types of teams within the organization and how they are used to foster organizational goals. And you are also to focus on how working remotely or in a virtual team impacts the structure of teams, their communications, and their work.

After reading the resources and watching the videos for this week, you will develop a training webinar using Kaltura that discusses the following:

· Identify the different types of teams and their purpose.

· Discuss the benefits of virtual teams or working remotely in a team.

· Explore some of the challenges working in teams creates and how they can be overcome.

· Share the importance of teams having a communication plan and some ways those plans could be structured.

· Describe how team conflicts can be resolved.

Throughout this course, you have discovered the vast world of business and how it is changing in the 21st century. The pace of change and innovation is nearly beyond tracking the massive new technology.

This week, you will reflect on all the readings and videos you have studied during the class. Open your mind to a world of innovation and future trends. Using your knowledge, project what type of future leadership will be needed for these new businesses and what challenges are ahead for those leaders.

Then, write a paper using APA style, visualizing what type of leadership will be needed to lead the business of the 21st century. Consider all the various concepts that have been discussed during class and the impact that leadership has on each one.

You are a corporate CEO of a global organization and desire to run an organization of excellence. You feel that your Directors and Executive need additional information on the ethical, legal, and social responsibilities of an organization of excellence and the importance of being a diverse and inclusive organization. You write a paper to be distributed to all Directors and Executive Managers that will be used as a basis of a strategic discussion meeting that is scheduled for the next two weeks.

· Describe  legal responsibilities that the company has to its community. Examples include reliability, accountability, and trustworthiness.

· Explain the additional  ethical responsibility that the company will adopt as part of its values. For your Signature Assignment, over the past 3 weeks you have been asked to identify a business leader that you could possibly interview about what they think should be the business model for the 21st Century. After the interview you are to create a video that depicts this interview and the business model that integrates all the knowledge you have gained from each week. There is another option for this project if you have not been able to identify a business leader to interview. You may instead use the course resources and locate your own research to develop your video.

As you reflect upon the model, consider how you can depict it visually. A model demonstrates the priorities of a business in a business and can be a designed shape, such as a cube, a pillar structure, or another visual approach. The model will show how the business includes all topics from the class into action or a business vision. This assignment will demonstrate knowledge, critical thinking, and leadership. Describe each part of the model as listed below:

· The business model

· Business responsibilities (Legal, ethical, and social)

· Team focus

· Communication

· Technology

· Current trends

· Future vision or goals of business

Length: The video should be 10-12 minutes long and explain your overall model with descriptions of each model element. Be creative. Also, submit a transcript that includes your references.

You will develop a conference poster for this assignment depicting different business structures. This assignment includes two parts:

Part 1

You are the director of the Small Business Administration and have been asked to present at a national business conference that depicts the various types of legal structures that organizations and businesses can consider. Many individuals considering starting new businesses will attend this conference and look for key information on how they should start their businesses. In addition to providing a workshop and some individual consulting, you have decided to develop a conference poster that clearly illustrates different business structure options. Review this week's resources before creating your poster to ensure it addresses your prospective business owner's questions and concerns.

Specific requirements for the poster:

· Describe the seven types of business structures.

· Offer a brief benefit of each.

· Identify a brief disadvantage of each.

· Include at least one visual.

Part 2
