Assignment 4 – The Whole-System Approach

Students prepare a 3-4 page paper that includes the following:

  1. Create an outline of the whole systems approach for a consulting problem within an organization that deals with employee safety, the introduction of new email procedures, or the opening of a new retail outlet.
  2. Compare the outline to that of a third-party approach.
  3. Explain the importance of trusting the process.
  4. Consider how positive deviance can be used in this consulting problem.

The requirements and format of the paper is to be as follows:

  • Include two references
  • Typed, double spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), APA format

The assignment will be graded using the following rubric:
