History assigment, who wants it?

Create a 10- to 12-slide Microsoft^® PowerPoint^® comparing two of the following branches of Christianity:

• Catholic
• Orthodox
• Protestant
• Pentecostal
• Nontraditional/Alternative

Include a brief history of the two traditions and a comparison of their approach to the Bible, art, specific symbols, and rituals as well as core beliefs. You might consider visiting in person or exploring one of these churches online to add your own experiences.

Format your references consistent with APA guidelines.

Grading Matrix:

This assignment is worth a total of 10% of your final grade and will be marked out of 100 points. 

Content (80 points)

• Presentation consists of at least 10 slides including an introductory slide with a title and your name (10 points).
• Two branches of Christianity are compared  including:
  • A history of each tradition (15 points).
  • Core beliefs of each tradition (30 points).
  • A comparison to their approach to the Bible, art, specific symbols, and rituals (15 points).
• Presentation clearly describes each element required through the use of detailed Speaker's Notes (10).

Style and Mechanics (20 points)

• Up to 10 points will be given for writing style, grammar, logical flow, and spelling. 
• UP to 10 points can be earned for good use of interesting visual aids, and for good presentation etiquette (maximum 5 lines per slide; minimum 24 point font).

Bonus of up to 10 points will be given for visiting in person or exploring one of these churches online and making reference to this in the presentation.  Maximum points for the assignment is still 100, including any bonus earned.
