Part 2, Section 1: Writing Sample: The Connection Between Academic and Professional Integrity
Explanation for the Relationship Between Academic Integrity and Writing
The development of nurse-scholars is based on the principles of academic honesty. It entails presenting one's views and efforts in an ethical and truthful manner. Writing and academic honesty have a complex relationship. Scholarly ideas may be expressed via writing. When a nurse-scholar maintains academic integrity in writing, it signifies commitment to the truthfulness and transparency of information. This integrity is reflected in proper citation practices, accurate data representation, and avoiding plagiarism. Writing with academic integrity builds a scholarly reputation and contributes to the credibility of the nursing profession.
Explanation for the Relationship Between Professional Practices and Scholarly Ethics
The connection between professional practices and scholarly ethics is vital for the nurse-scholar. Ethical conduct in professional practice involves upholding beneficence, justice, autonomy, and non-maleficence principles (O’Donoghue, 2022). Scholarly ethics are responsible for conducting research honestly, accurately, and fairly. It means that professional practices must be ethically sound in order for a nurse-scholar to make contributions to the profession that are clinically defensible. This synergy ensures that patient care is guided by evidence-based, ethically conducted research, promoting optimal health outcomes. The alignment of scholarly ethics with professional practices also establishes trust within the healthcare community and strengthens the nurse-scholar's dedication to upholding best patient care practices.
Grammarly, Turnitin, and Paraphrasing in Academic Integrity
Grammarly and Turnitin maintain academic integrity. Grammarly, for instance, detects grammatical mistakes, makes sure the message is clear and upholds academic language standards. On the other hand, Turnitin is a plagiarism checker that prevents accidental academic dishonesty (Ismail & Jabri, 2023). That is supplemented by paraphrasing, which enhances originality in work by rephrasing ideas while retaining their initial thoughts. They form part of the academic honesty watch-dogs ensuring that nurses-scholars' work is polished and ethically right regarding how they use language.
Part 2, Section 2: Strategies for Maintaining Integrity of Work
Academic Work as a Student of the MSN Program
Having enrolled into the MSN program, I have undertaken to always use academic resources such as online writing labs and APA style guide for my continued improvement of writing skills and correct citing practices. My comprehension of scholarly ethics will be deepened by participating in research ethics workshops. To make sure there is linguistic precision and no accidental plagiarism, checking every academic paper through Grammarly then Turnitin should become a habit.
Professional Work as a Nurse Throughout My Career
As I pursue my nursing career, I will maintain continuous professional development to be on the lookout for ethical considerations in healthcare. Working with interdisciplinary teams will promote an atmosphere of ethics-based decision-making (Mökander & Axente, 2021). My professional behaviour will be guided by seeking guidance from seasoned nurse scholars and ethical leaders in health care. Attending conferences addressing evidence-based practice and research ethics is one way to ensure that what I contribute follows the highest ethical standards.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN PART 3: RESEARCH ANALYSIS
Architect Daniel Libeskind is credited with saying “To provide meaningful architecture is not to parody history, but to articulate it.” The suggestion is that his work does not copy the efforts of others but relies on it.
