Annotated Bibliography

· Choose a theme that is practically applicable to both this course and your needs as a graduate student and/or educator. Please identify your topic to the instructor before beginning research and this work.

a. For the annotated bibliography, read 3 articles surrounding your theme. You must choose 3 articles from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals. No two articles should be from the same journal. No articles with publication dates greater than 10 years ago should be included. 

b. For the annotated bibliography format, refer to the sample annotated bibliography on our class Moodle.

· Each entry should include the APA reference for the article, followed below by a 3 paragraph annotation:

1. The first should outline a general summary of the research of the article.

2. The second should outline the methodologies used and weaknesses and strengths of the work.

3. The third should outline the extent practicable of this research to your teaching practice and/or graduate education and/or own research.

c. Assignment length: Aim for 2-3 pages, informal heading, no references page; third person
