• Analyze the HIPAA Privacy Rule. 
• Discuss the general rule for patient authorization. 
• Differentiate how nursing homes and home care are subject to HIPAA regulations. 
• Explain how confidentiality settings impact HIPAA.
• Evaluate how HIPAA affects employees within a health care system.
