ADHD

Do you think ADHD should be considered a disorder or is it just a different cognitive ability?  Do you know of others who have been diagnosed with ADHD? Do you think the children are being  over medicated  in order to make it easier for the parents or educators to  cope?   Are our current teaching environments created to make students sit still and be quiet? Are our  current learning environments the best ones for all children? What, if anything, should be done differently?
