Reminder: Please review the Course Project Overview in Week 1 before beginning this assignment.

Establishing a presence and building a relationship with your students requires a different medium in the online classroom. Rather than meeting face-to-face for an engaging exchange, you will need to be proactive in bridging the connection with students.

For this part of the Course Project, design and create a 2- to 3-minute course orientation welcoming students into the online community. The orientation should include the following: CREATE POWERPOINT

• A welcome to the course
• An introduction, some general information about you
• What the student will learn in the course
• Expectations
• Grading
• Other syllabus or course-related information

In addition, prepare a 1- to 2-page paper analyzing your decisions for the orientation. Explain why you chose a particular type of presentation method and your reasons for including the content that you did. Be sure to support your analysis with references to this week's Learning Resources.

Be sure to combine your orientation and your analysis paper into one document before submitting your completed assignment.
