During the earlier part of the Post-Civil Rights Era, the Michael Jordan-led "stance of neutrality" was perceived as a movement away from the "committed black athlete" of the Civil Rights Era. However, since the 21st century, LeBron James has led a movement back to a stance of commitment and black community engagement among black athletes and others.

Do you think that Michael Jordan's (the first billionaire athlete) end to his "stance of neutrality" and recent support of LeBron James are sincere or simply business ploys to protect his "brands" (e.g., contracts with NIke, Haines, etc.)?
