Write a comparative evaluation--an essay in which you argue that one thing is superior to another. ex-You can compare two websites, two streaming services, two part-time jobs, or any other two subjects you feel confident you can write about. In your thesis, take the position that one of your two subjects is superior to the other. As you would with any evaluation, begin by deciding on the criteria you will use. 

  Before you begin drafting, make sure you understand the concept of criteria and review the grammar in context box on page 526. (attached with rubric)

Structure

Your essay should include a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion:

Step 1: Write your introductory paragraph. At the end of this paragraph, include a thesis statement that indicates your overall argument (please underline this thesis statement in your final draft- see syllabus policy). Finally, remember to include a creative title for your evaluation.

Step 2: Write 2-4 body paragraphs. Remember to back up your opinions with specific support. 

Step 3: Include a creative concluding paragraph.
