One of the classics of the genre is Dracula, which was first a novel by Bram Stoker (written in 1897) and has been made into many different movie versions. Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley, was written much earlier, in 1818, and was similarly made into several film versions.

Both Dracula and Frankenstein are literally about characters with evil or monster-like traits but also have a deeper meaning. In what ways does Get Out follow in this pattern of having a scary literal meaning, but also deeper implications?
