For chapter one i scored the lowest on: Consider opportunity costs and marginal
effects in making personal finance decisions, and chapter two I scored the lowest on
Develop a system for financial record keeping and prepare a personal balance sheet.
I feel like a fish out of water these terms are definitely
new to me and im attempting to understand them but this class may end up being a
bit overwhelming. however i do see the need for me to start off with my short term
and long term goals and from there establish a financial plan in order to have my
own spa one day. I learned that opportunity cost is basically what I will give up when
I invest into something. Compound interest is basically the interest on interest that ill
have to pay and the time value of money me hoping that the money i currently have
will be worth more in the future. The online calculator has me panicking but also it
shows me that i need to teach my children the importance of saving early so that
they will have something saved if anything was to happen.
