For my proposed thesis I have decided to chose a article called "SOCIAL MEDIA, THE
INTERNET, & MENTAL HEALTH." the reason I decided to choose this article was
because I feel today's generation knows nothing but the internet and social media. I
feel social media plays a big part in today's society and way of thinking. Some
people are guilty of letting it get to them and take control of their mind and how they
think and act today. Mental health also plays a big part in it as well. People use social
media so much they have a hard time socializing and meeting new people. They
would rather talk on the phone than have a face to face conversation. I also think
this article tells us we should always focus on making our mental health better as
well and that we shouldn't always relate to the internet and social media for things
such as socializing. We should get out more use our phones less and learn to speak
in person and not always use social media.
