COURSE GUIDE: BUS 553: Technology & Product Management
Successfully Launching Your Digital Brand Using Technology and Innovation
Welcome to BUS 5533! You’ll need talent and technology to ensure that your business is a success. This
course will provide an overview of how to develop and take a product to market. Topics covered include
target customer analysis, value proposition development, competitive landscape analysis, product design,
wireframe and prototype creation, product iteration, project management, key metrics, fostering customer
feedback, product improvement and more.
COURSE DELIVERY
This course will be delivered primarily on Facebook. Upon enrollment, your professor or Strayer
University staff will invite you to join the Facebook Course Group associated with this course. You will
need to use the Facebook app to access this course on your mobile device. If you don’t already have it,
find the steps to download the Facebook Mobile App here: https://www.facebook.com/mobile.
There will also be a corresponding Black Board course shell which you will utilize to check your Grades,
Submit Assignments 1 and 2 and complete your weekly High Growth Thinking exercises via the
Blackboard Student App on your phone or the Blackboard course shell on your computer. Find the steps
to download the Blackboard Student App here: Your https://help.blackboard.com/Bb_Student/Quick_Start
professor will also post links in Facebook to take you directly to these items in the Blackboard Course via
the BB Student App.

WEEKLY COURSE SCHEDULE
