Module Fourteen- Discussion
Southern New Hampshire University
I started this academic journey with some trepidations around how I would fit the coursework
into my already full schedule. Having the experience of balancing the course with a lighter lift
in terms of the content allowed me to find strategies to be successful. Leveraging my calendar
to block out times to close a door and focus on coursework is going to be a tool I use
throughout this journey.
Looking ahead to next term, the first week is a week that I will be out of town in key meetings
all week. There is a good chance I might have just skipped next term based on my work
schedule, if not for this course. I am now confident that I can get ahead and be prepared for a
week that will be very taxing. In fact, I’ve already ordered and downloaded the textbook so I
can get ahead on reading during the break.
I’ve enjoyed the discussion threads and the camaraderie built. While
everyone’s personal situation is different, we all had to find a way to
navigate the murky waters of balancing already full plates with new
coursework.
Your journey and proactive approach to balancing coursework with a busy
schedule are truly commendable. It's inspiring to see how you've found
effective strategies, such as leveraging your calendar, to successfully
manage your time. Planning ahead for next term, despite a demanding work
schedule, reflects your commitment to overcoming challenges and staying
ahead. Your enthusiasm for getting a head start on reading during the
break is a testament to your dedication.
The camaraderie you've experienced in the discussion threads is wonderful,
and your positive outlook for the entire group's success is heartening
