Although India doesn't presently have laws requiring sustainability reporting, they
are planning to implement them soon, and they continue to place a strong emphasis on
sustainability and environmental protection. Indian businesses are among those with the
quickest growth rates because of their recognition of the value of sustainability reporting
and corporate social responsibility. It is predicted that it will include topics including the
company's efforts to increase energy conservation, the results of those efforts, and how
it is impacting production along with the overall amount of energy used as well as the
amount of energy used per manufacturing unit. The North American Free Commercial
Agreement significantly altered trade ties with Mexico, and many American firms
discovered that Mexico offered them significantly less expensive labor as well to get
under America's tighter environmental regulations. Therefore, Mexican politicians are
aware that environmental deterioration would result from foreign investment, even
though it could help Mexico's economy grow.
Therefore, with a low-quality education system and a high dropout rate, decent
education in India is a privilege for very few. Additionally, India's cheap wages offer it a
competitive edge over other nations. Likewise, Mexico also has very low labor costs, a
high level of skilled labor, heavy industry policies, and a strategic geographical position.
Due to its advantages in current intellectual property protections, opposition leaders,
customs, and trade facilitation, Mexico is seen as a successful and secure enough
country to do business. Mexico is a category I nation, making it the least restrictive for
recipients of high-tech items from the United States, and is not subject to any United
States export control restrictions. The Intellectual Property Index now has 53 countries,
with India coming in at number 40. The United States and Mexico5Agreement, as it is
known in Mexico, guarantee5the protection of information and intellectual property for
any international businesses with Mexican operations that are American based. I think
Mexico would be the nation most suited to conduct business with based on all the
aforementioned categories, including the sustainability, cost, laws, intellectual property,
and reputation of the respective nations. Even though they do not currently have any
sustainability legislation, they have a stable economy, a good workforce, and cheap
labor expenses.
India has become a leader in technological innovation, but they just passed a
new regulation that prevents private businesses from recruiting people from other
states. which, because of a dynamic work environment and lack of flexibility, may deter
future investors. When the United States conducts business with India, there are also
significant cultural differences.
