advantage is IBM. They are an IT company based in New York but
run operations through the span of 170 countries worldwide. They
offer IT outsourcing and have many major clients such as American
Airlines, Volkswagen, PayPal, and Amazon. Main services include
recruitment, financial planning, and consulting services. IBM offers a
great value to clients who go through them. Such as cost savings, by
eliminating the need for hardware, upgrades, physical space and
eliminating labor costs associated with in house functions. Over the
IBM mainframe outsourcing acts as a flexible solution that is tailored
specific to client needs. It allows for minimal costs while optimizing
performance. Along with not having to worry about staffing
deficiencies in the IT department (Windsor Group). This has created
value for IBM, as they have found a way to showcase their skills in
aiding other businesses meet their objectives. There is value for both
the consumer and business. The clients receive top of the line service
to help run operations smoothly and efficiently, while the company
of course receives money from the client. While the benefits of
outsourcing seem unbeatable it is important to conduct valuable
research when determining which supplier to use. To avoid any risk
or complications with issues such as ethics, environmental or
sustainability issues.
