Sincerely, I find them both to be pertinent. Because I need that job, controlled motivation
is most pertinent to my professional life. I'm motivated to go to work every day because I
generally find it interesting. I must go though because I know how much I need the job. I
am motivated by my own independent motivation when it comes to school. I am eager to
log on and start taking the course material very seriously.

Naturally, the more motivated you are by something, the more involved you are in it.
How something inspires you will likewise impact how drawn in you are. Even if you are
motivated in a controlled environment, your level of engagement may not be as high as it
would be if you chose to complete this activity on your own.
