What was your parents parenting style? What were the pros and cons of their style?

at midnight.
I had no father figure in the picture so it was just my mother and I growing up. My
mother's parenting style was Authoritarian which is; high expectations, clear
rules, punishing, structured environments, and a power over. I will start with the
cons first I feel my mothers style of parenting was uninvolving and she created to
make me more crafty and sneaky about my decisions. For the pros I would say
that I am self reliant more because I feel all I have is myself to feel proud of or to
feel and understand myself.
