"When Is Happiness About How Much You Earn? The Effect of hourly Payment
on the Money-Happiness Connection" is a research study based on panel studies
that were conducted using cross-sectional data in the U.S. The study was
conducted to analyze the relationship between income and happiness and its
influence on hourly pay. The research found an association between income and
happiness in cross-sectional studies, even though varied. The researchers agree
that a difference in pay played a role, as do experiences.

Money and Happiness, Does Age Make a Difference is a study conducted to
examine the association between money and happiness across age groups. Data
from 1972 to 2006 were analyzed for this study. The results showed that
household income on happiness was significantly less for older adults than that
of middle-aged adults in the model controlling for major socio-demographic
variables.After including social comparison variables, the relationship between
household income and happiness did not differ significantly across age groups.
