with1 the1 relevant1 information.
1. Is1 your1 goal1 to1 work1 in1 a1 helping1 profession1 or1 do1 you1 work1 in1 a1 helping1 profession1 now?1
Describe1 why1 your1 goal1 profession1 or1 current1 profession1 is1 meaningful1 to1 you.1 Your1 response1
should1 be1 a1 minimum1 of1 11 to1 31 sentences.
[My1 goal1 is1 to1 work1 in1 a1 helping1 profession1 like1 social1 work1 or1 counselling.1 My1 goal1 is1 very1
meaningful1 to1 me1 as1 it1 will1 provide1 me1 with1 an1 opportunity1 to1 help1 other1 people1 in1 resolving1
their1 issues.1 I1 will1 be1 able1 to1 offer1 the1 required1 help1 at1 the1 time1 of1 need.1 In1 recent1 times,1 issues1
such1 as1 depression1 have1 increased1 a1 lot.1 People1 face1 a1 lot1 of1 difficulty1 in1 dealing1 with1 stress,1
depression,1 and1 anxiety1 issues.1 As1 a1 counselor,1 I1 will1 be1 able1 to1 interact1 with1 people,1
understand1 their1 problems,1 and1 provide1 them1 with1 appropriate1 solutions.1 In1 times1 of1 trouble1
and1 depressing1 situations,1 people1 require1 someone1 to1 share1 their1 feelings1 and1 emotions.1 I1 am1
a1 good1 listener.1 So,1 I1 can1 patiently1 listen1 to1 all1 that1 individuals1 have1 to1 say1 and1 provide1 them1
with1 appropriate1 advice1 on1 the1 basis1 of1 their1 situation.1 As1 a1 counselor,1 I1 will1 get1 to1 meet1
different1 people1 and1 handle1 different1 situations.1 So,1 the1 work1 will1 not1 be1 monotonous1 for1 me.1
Instead,1 it1 will1 provide1 me1 with1 an1 opportunity1 to1 learn1 something1 new1 every1 time1 I1 interact1
with1 different1 individuals.1 I1 will1 also1 learn1 to1 empathize1 more.1 My1 goal1 profession1 is1 also1
important1 as1 it1 allows1 me1 to1 bring1 hope1 to1 someone’s1 life.]
2. One1 of1 your1 programmatic1 course1 themes1 is1 self-care.1 Which1 of1 the1 strategies1 for1 self-care1
from1 the1 article1 Recognizing1 Compassion1 Fatigue1 in1 the1 Helping1 Professions1 are1 most1 relevant1
to1 you1 now1 as1 a1 student1 or1 working1 professional?1 Your1 response1 should1 be1 a1 minimum1 of1 11 to1
31 sentences.
[A1 number1 of1 strategies1 of1 self-care1 mentioned1 in1 the1 article1 are1 relevant1 to1 me.1 One1 of1 the1
relevant1 strategies1 is1 to1 stick1 to1 the1 schedule.1 I1 tend1 to1 overwork1 myself.1 As1 a1 working1
professional,1 I1 tend1 to1 overwork1 myself1 every1 day.1 I1 reach1 my1 workplace1 before1 the1 other1
employees1 of1 the1 organization.1 I1 am1 also1 the1 last1 one1 to1 leave1 the1 workplace.1 Even1 though1 my1
work1 gets1 over1 early,1 I1 stay1 back1 to1 help1 others1 in1 the1 workplace.1 I1 cannot1 say1 a1 ‘no’1 to1 anyone1
who1 needs1 some1 kind1 of1 help.1 This1 often1 becomes1 the1 reason1 why1 I1 have1 to1 stay1 back1 at1 the1
office1 so1 late.1 Moreover,1 I1 also1 give1 extra1 focus1 to1 all1 the1 work1 that1 I1 handle,1 thereby1 staying1 in1
the1 workplace1 for1 late.1 I1 will1 have1 to1 learn1 to1 say1 no1 to1 certain1 things1 without1 any1 regret.1 In1
order1 to1 ensure1 self-care,1 I1 need1 to1 spend1 only1 the1 required1 amount1 of1 time1 in1 the1 workplace.1
Another1 strategy1 that1 is1 very1 relevant1 for1 me1 is1 to1 reevaluate1 every1 now1 and1 then.1 Even1
though1 I1 am1 not1 satisfied1 with1 my1 work1 at1 times,1 I1 do1 not1 evaluate1 them1 and1 find1 out1 the1 real1
cause.1 I1 will1 have1 to1 start1 doing1 it.]
3. One1 of1 your1 programmatic1 course1 themes1 is1 emotional1 intelligence.1 How1 do1 you1 currently1

major)1 continues?1 Your1 response1 should1 be1 a1 minimum1 of1 11 to1 31 sentences.
[Currently,1 I1 apply1 my1 emotional1 intelligence1 skills1 in1 a1 number1 of1 ways.1 One1 of1 the1 ways1 is1
that1 whenever1 I1 am1 working1 in1 a1 team,1 I1 try1 to1 recognize1 the1 feelings1 of1 the1 other1 team1
members1 and1 accordingly1 react1 to1 specific1 situations.1 I1 make1 sure1 to1 control1 my1 feeling1 and1
behave1 in1 an1 expected1 way.1 I1 am1 not1 at1 all1 moody.1 I1 am1 well1 aware1 of1 how1 I1 react,1 when1 to1
2
react,1 and1 the1 reason1 behind1 why1 I1 react1 in1 a1 specific1 manner.1 All1 these1 show1 that1 I1 am1 making1
the1 best1 utilization1 of1 my1 emotional1 intelligence1 skills.1 Even1 though1 I1 am1 using1 my1 emotional1
intelligence1 skills1 well,1 there1 is1 still1 scope1 for1 improvement.1 Through1 this1 program,1 I1 will1 be1
able1 to1 explore1 more1 strategies1 for1 improving1 my1 emotional1 intelligence1 skills.1 It1 will1 help1 in1
effectively1 strengthening1 my1 skills1 and1 becoming1 more1 mindful1 in1 different1 situations.1 It1 will1
help1 me1 in1 taking1 care1 of1 myself.1 This1 will1 ultimately1 enable1 me1 to1 take1 better1 care1 of1 others1
around1 me.1 The1 strategies1 of1 EI1 in1 the1 course1 will1 be1 very1 helpful1 for1 me.]
