The case study on "BlewMinds: Leveraging Influencer Communication Strategies' has
identified many issues and concerns in business settings. There is no use of other social media
platforms for target audience engagement except LinkedIn, the lack of social media
influencer involvement, no other senior consultant except Sandeep was able to conduct a
storytelling session and develop trust with the audience, and other team members were not
able to emphasize with the listeners, except Sandeep in the business environment. The
founders of the storytelling consulting firm, Sandeep Kochhar and his wife Vishwapriya,
need to work strategically to create an effective solution through communication.
Internal Communication Mediums
In general, the choice of communication medium is based on different factors like the
target audience, the nature of the message, the organizational culture and the urgency. There
are different mediums available to address the negative environment in the business settings
that may have occurred. Some common internal communication mediums are intranet portals,
email, face-to-face meetings, newsletters, team collaboration tools, town hall sessions, and
digital signage (Vercic & Spoljaric, 2020). It has been found that decisions on the medium
must rely on the factors like the requirement for immediate feedback, the complexity of the
message, the level of interactivity needed, and the accessibility of the audience. The first
thing that needs to be paid attention to is the companywide memorandum so that all the team
members can know how the founders of BlewMinds are working hard to find solutions to
resolve the arising consulting issues. After sending the memorandum, there is a need to create
a FAQ section about the letter, which needs to be placed on the intranet site of the consulting
company. The next step would be conducting teleconferences, social media communication,
smaller team meetings or face-to-face communication to address or handle individual
concerns or issues. It has been found that conducting teleconferences or smaller team
meetings, or face-to-face communication, are the best business communication strategies to

bring success to the business (Ali et al., 2021) and strengthen the impact of the stories and
message (Enke & Borchers, 2019).
Internal Communication Audience
The identification of the target audience is essential for effective internal
communication. There is a need to consider several factors like job roles, organizational
structure, job levels and job roles within the organizational settings. Apart from that, cultural
factors also need to be considered, like geographic locations, language preferences, and
diversity. It is crucial to have a clear understanding of the audience's needs, characteristics,
and communication preferences that help to tailor the message to ensure effective
communication and resonate with them. In the present case study, the target audience for the
memorandum addressing the concerns and issues sent in the letter by the staff would be the
stakeholders, shareholders, and all the team members of BlewMinds. As the company has a
large audience with larger diversity, the requirement is to avoid the use of any jargon or slang
to make specific that the sent messages are being interpreted in the right form by the audience
(Cardon, 2020). The founders of BlewMinds can pay more attention to the internal
communication audience in order to achieve the business goals and engage all the team
members in the business decisions.

taking these issues very seriously. As the founder of BlewMinds, it is our responsibility and
duty to create a better and more friendly workplace by improving involvement and engaging
the target audience in every possible manner through different social media platforms.
We have planned to begin improving our communication system within the company
in order to bring changes to the company by improving face-to-face communication,
teleconferences, social media communication or smaller team meetings. The new inspiring
videos will be created by other online influencers, and they will be posted on the website to
strengthen the impact of the stories and message (Enke & Borchers, 2019). We will give
emphasis on getting honest feedback through our video posting, which also requires
encouragement and input from the ground level of teamwork. It is an effective suggestion that
our team needs to consider very seriously and work efficiently to bring improvement to these
concerns in the business setting.
It is essential to focus on different social media platforms as a consulting firm as it can
help to account for performance improvement and popularise the content on different
platforms. With the growing organization, the team members too will grow their
performance, so connecting with influencers and listeners is essential in the business setting.
As the founder of BlewMinds, we also encourage our team to take part in the narration
of stories as well as the current approach to fans and followers of BlewMinds in order to
understand what can make it a better consulting firm in different ways. All the feedback will
be considered and reviewed without any discrimination or judgement. The main objective of
this activity is to expand its client and customer base and achieve its target of touching 5
billion lives by the year 2030. Moreover, we also target leveraging strategic communication
for the BlewMinds business.

Further, the company is dealing with all the current issues with effective leadership.
For any future problems or issues, it will be ensured acknowledged quickly and timely a
resolution for correction will be offered.
Internal Communication Needs and Development
When creating messaging, it is crucial to consider the development of employees and
their personal needs. It may include understanding their concerns, aspirations, and
motivations. Therefore, the messaging needs to be tailored to emphasize how the change
aligns with an individual's growth and development and address these needs. It is crucial to
communicate the available support, like mentoring, training programs, or resources, to help
staff to enhance their skill by navigating the change. The main intention of the consulting
firm, BlewMinds, is to improve the communication channels by demonstrating the founders
of the company and making them understand the required changes and how these changes can
be navigated. Considering the development and needs of the listeners and team members in
the business setting is essential if the founders of the company want to successfully
implement the transformation. The addition of new videos to the website demonstrates that
they are taking the recommendations very seriously and working really hard to resolve the
issues. The founders are exploring new opportunities to build relationships with team
members and target audiences and strengthen trust through different social media platforms.
However, the senior management team requires gaining perspectives from different levels
and gaining feedback from the video.
Internal Communication Support
Sandeep Kochhar and Vishwapriya, the founder of BlewMinds, will require different
senior leadership involvement to bring change in the management process. It requires most of
the team members to participate and create a change management plan. As the company lacks
social media influencer involvement, no other senior consultant was able to conduct a

storytelling session and develop trust with the audience, and other team members were not
able to emphasize with the listeners; it is difficult to bring change so easily. But allowing the
team members to raise their voices and keeping them informed in all possible ways during the
planning process can make it smooth and successful. It has been found that employee
involvement is crucial to achieving success in the change management process (Heathfield,
2019).
Internal Communication Conflict
Within the workplace, many conflicts already exist, and the involvement of new
videos on the website can cause some conflict among the team members. It has been
identified that conflicts often occur when new changes are implemented within the work
culture, as many members are not comfortable with the change and need a new way of doing
things (Heathfield, 2019). However, an improvement loop can be created by considering
continuous feedback that can help to reduce conflict. Regular involvement and
communication can reduce resistance to change.
