Milestone Three
One of the largest life sciences firms in the Midwest has owners who are interested in
selling their business. As business development manager, my current responsibility is to provide
a strategy plan to help the corporation through the selling and departing process. We have chosen
to carry out more investigation on a different buyer despite the possibility that there would be
obstacles in the selling procedure. Our strategic planning team has been entrusted with
developing an acquisition road map that outlines the essential action processes and dates for
purchase, as well as an alternative buyer research report that will help us choose possible buyers.
Alternate Buyer Research Report
Eight international medical and pharmaceutical businesses are identified as potential
buyers for our company. Johnson & Johnson is the suggested buyer. Robert Wood Johnson, a
pharmacist, and his brothers James Wood Johnson and Edward Mead Johnson founded Johnson
& Johnson in 1886. (Reed, 2020). This company manufactures and sells a wide range of goods,
including baby oil, autoimmune disease treatments, and anti-tumor drugs (Reed, 2020).
Current Market
In the contemporary market, Johnson & Johnson produces goods for medicines, medical
technology, and consumer health. For the possible acquisition of our life sciences company,
Johnson & Johnson's pharmaceutical division is the major market we are concentrating on.
