1. Using the PESTLE forces guide, several social factors have been identified that will impact
the change process of the organization. The different social factors that will influence the
change requirements of the workforce of the U.S. Unit are education level, sex distribution,
social classes, age distribution, as well as attitude towards work, career, leisure, and
retirement.
All these social factors will influence the change readiness in the workforce of the U.S. Unit
significantly. For instance, the level of education is an important indicator of the quality of the
workforce (Masovic, 2018). The level of education of the workforce will determine how well
they are able to understand the importance and need of the change and willing to be a part of
it. The sex distribution is another important social factor that influences the readiness for
change. The U.S Unit workforce consists of 55 percent of female employees and 30 percent
of male employees. According to studies, the soft feminine characteristics of the female
employees enable them to be better prepared for the change in comparison to the male
employees.
As the percentage of female employees is more in the workforce of the U.S Unit, it
will have a positive influence on the readiness for change. Age distribution also impacts the
readiness to change of employees in an organization. For instance, organizations having more
young employees are likely to be better prepared for the change. It is because of the energetic
and enthusiastic attributes of the young employees. They show increased willingness to
change in comparison to the older employees. The U.S Unit has a majority of young
employees in its workforce, thereby ensuring better readiness for the change. Attitude
towards work, career, leisure, and retirement also influences the readiness toward change.
Employees who are committed to their work, as well as careers, are more likely to support the
change in order to ensure the development of the organization.

Through the demographic data, I will make use of graphs and charts in order to
present as well as emphasize the social factors influencing change in the organization.
2. The technological factors that will influence the change requirements of the organization
are innovation, competing technology development, information and communication,
technology communication, global communications, information technology, the internet, as
well as innovation potential.
Developing new competing technologies will enable the workforce of the U.S Unit to
better prepare for the change in the organization (Alolabi et al., 2021). The upgradation of the
existing technologies will facilitate a smooth change in the organization. Information
technology has become vital in recent times. If the workforce of the organization has easy
access to information technology, they can be better prepared for the change. The innovation
potential of the employees in the U.S Unit is also an important factor to take into
consideration. If the workforce has high innovation potential, the change will be easy as well
as smooth.
On the other hand, if the innovation potential of the workforce in terms of technology
is less, then the change will take time and can be a little challenging. Internet is also another
technological factor that affects the readiness to change. If the workforce of the U.S Unit is
well-versed in making the best use of the internet, then the change can be easy. But lack of
sufficient internet knowledge can give rise to a number of problems, affecting successful
change.
In order to visually present as well as emphasize all the technological factors
impacting the change, I will make use of graphs and charts. Using the demographic data, the
technological factors can be effectively presented for a better understanding of the situation.
