The role of communication in fostering or suppressing change is an important one. It is important
to understand how communication can be used to both promote and inhibit change. In order to
promote change, communication must be used to clearly articulate the desired outcomes and
objectives that are to be achieved. Communication should also be used to build consensus among
stakeholders and to provide support to those involved in the change process. On the other hand,
communication can be used to suppress change by creating confusion or doubt, preventing the
flow of information, or creating an atmosphere of distrust. Understanding how communication
can be used to both foster and suppress change is an important part of successfully managing
change initiatives.
The role of strategic communication in sustaining change is also important. Strategic
communication can be used to ensure that the change is understood by all stakeholders and that
the desired outcomes are achieved. Strategic communication should be used to build consensus
among stakeholders, create a shared understanding of the change, provide support to those
involved in the process, and ensure that the change is implemented properly. Additionally,
strategic communication should be used to provide feedback and support to those involved in the
change process.
I learned a lot from completing Milestone Two. I learned about the various aspects of change
management, including the importance of communication, stakeholder engagement, and the
creation of a shared understanding of the change. I also received feedback from the instructor on
how to improve my work. The instructor provided helpful suggestions on how to better articulate
the concept of change and how to structure the project.
My personal experience working through the milestones has been positive overall. The modules
provided clear instructions on how to complete each milestone and the instructor was always
available to provide feedback and guidance. The process I followed was to read through the
material, think about the topics, and then research and write about them. I believe that this has
helped me to better understand the concepts and to apply them to my project.
The topics of change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement are all related
