When examining effective leaders' personal brand traits that I consider
them to have in common would-be integrity, authenticity, and
confidence to take calculated risks.
When I define my personal brand regarding my profession, I consider
myself a lead from the front type of leader. I always put myself in
situations to help my teammates. I am a Nursing home administrator
and I lead from the floor not my office. My industry is a highly regulated
service industry and I find myself in situations where saying No is an
easy answer to many requests. I have made my career by finding ways
to say yes. This leads to compromise and builds trust in staff, residents,
and family members. Finding a way to say yes leads to more win-win
scenarios.
