Success
The rate of success of a company is determined by how it functions, mostly in terms of
performance and satisfying results in innovation. The differences between companies and
teachings will be determined by corporate structure, vision, innovation, and cooperation. The
operating environment for Skunk Works and the case study company will be compared.
Organizational structure
The case study organization's organizational structure is mostly a matrix structure design, which
is difficult to understand, and choices are taken by those who are farthest away from the
customer. The company primarily uses Centers of expertise (COE) for significant competencies
and understanding. The activities are largely concerned with the mainstream, and the COEs, in
particular, establish more framework, discipline, and control over all activities. The COEs allow
for resource and effort repetition across the central control. The sole disadvantage of the COE
setup is that it might lead to restrictive efficiency and a lack of connectedness and many aims.
