Module Overview
Welcome to MBA 580: Innovation and Strategy for High-Performance
Organizations.
Constant innovation is a key success factor for many companies. It
helps companies save money, time, and natural resources. It also helps
companies reinforce their brand in the marketplace as an organization
that thinks outside the box when developing or upgrading their
products. Innovation helps companies stay one step ahead of their
competition, giving them the “first-mover” advantage with the
potential of generating higher revenues and gaining people's attention.
In this module, through video, you will first observe the various
developments and innovations happening around the world.
Moreover, you will learn how companies, through discipline and a
systematic process, can achieve innovation using tools such as risk
matrix and real-win-worth it (RWW) screening.
Over the next few weeks, you will take on the role of middle manager
for one of the top U.S. producers of luxury and mass-market
automobiles and trucks. In this course scenario, your role will be to
lead a cross-functional team to decide the innovation journey for this
organization.
In this course, you will also earn industry-recognized badges and
certifications that will help you gain additional skills speaking directly
to what employers want. The AICPA certificate course in Robotic
Process Automation Strategy for Business Leaders will help you get an
overview of robotic process automation.
