All the work stations are connected using a central shared server and is also called
a LAN(Local Area Network). The LAN is created by connecting all physical
devices such as workstations, servers, multifunctional devices, routers, and
modems. The modem is used to provide internet access to the Georgia office
through the server.!A firewall is placed between the office and the internet, in
which is a network security tool, that keeps track of and filters incoming or
outgoing network traffic. Georgia’s office rules were to have all devices
connected by cables.!
In addition you could install a VPN for anyone who would like to be able to work
remotely, giving the benefits protecting privacy, and block content while using
public Wi-Fi from afar.
