There were two vital tools that I chose and that I use on a daily basis.
That is Firewall and Antivirus software. Every computer system,
whether business or personally has a need for a firewall and
antivirus. The purpose and means of such security are to protect
your personal and business information. Though both are security
features and they are both needed, they perform different tasks. The
Firewall blocks unauthorized access and connection attempts to your
network and monitors network traffic, while the anti-virus software
alerts you to virus and malware infections. The anti-virus also scans
the entire system daily, in an attempt to find threats to or on your
computer.
Information Security Analyst, Network Admin, Computer Support
Specialist and Electronic Commerce Specialist, and more will have to
have knowledge of the different Firewalls and Anti-virus and what
works well with current systems. Computer security, cybersecurity,
or information technology security are the roles that will become
most familiar with Firewall and Anti-virus, as their roles are to
protect and secure computer systems from information disclosure,
theft, damage or any other breach that may occur to the hardware,
software, electronic data, or disruption of their clients or own
computer system.
