After spending 15 years working in the IT world, I developed a great interest
with the project management side of the house. Technology is a huge element
in any modern company, business, or organization and with that, there will
always be a need to implement or upgrade systems and infrastructure. Due to
the intricacies of IT, installing or making a significant change to an existing
network can be a huge undertaking. Between customers, venders,
technicians, budget, and more, an IT Project Manager can be of great service
arranging and overlooking the process. As an project manager, they would be
responsible for listening to the customers wants and finding the best method
of execution. This would include but not limited to researching solutions,
coordinating with venders, or contractors, and ensuring financial constraints
or met. I realize that I really enjoy talking to people and finding a way to
meet customer needs is very rewarding to me, therefore I think IT Project
Management would be a great way for me to utilize my skillset will
providing fulfilment.& &
