Through the trials and tribulations in this course thus far, I believe the perspective of the humanities will
have a positive impact on my future professional career because it helps to expand my knowledge of
different human cultures through many forms of art and experience. My future professional career as an
FBI special agent, I will be amongst all walks of life, experiencing different countries and cultures,
religions and ways of living. Humanities broadens my horizons on how to access different cultures and
learn life through different lenses. For example, for the first year of my training, it is mandatory for all new
recruits to work at the home office in Washington, DC, afterwards I will be placed in a field office out of
one of two places, Madrid, Spain or Moscow, Germany, both have vastly different cultures and
governments they follow. Having a high insight on the humanities will help me open myself to learning
these cultures and digest the differences.'
