The study of Humanities includes but not limited to art, literature,
history, philosophy, and ethics. The perspective of the humanities
can have a positive impact on my current profession (business
owner) and my current profession (business accountant) using
literature and ethics. Literature because it is hard for me to
comprehend what I am reading. Owning a business, it’s a lot of
paperwork and understanding what I am reading. Humanities lets us
look deeper into what we are looking at and that is what I need to do
to understand if my business is going to take off or fail. It's not just
about numbers and if I am making money. Ethics the discipline
dealing with what is good and bad and with moral duty and
obligation. In my future profession of Business Accounting and
Finances, I believe this to be a great part of doing what is morally
right as far as making sure that these businesses are doing what they
need to do and not causing fraud.
