I think what is unique about the methods used to investigate the
humanities is that it uses human emotion. With math and science,
there is one way to do it and its based-on formula. However, when
viewing a piece of art or music, you investigated it using your
emotions and what you see. To me, this makes it a much more
interesting way to investigate. There is normally a "right" answer to
the humanities but there can be some fluctuation because everyone
feeling on a piece are different. Some may believe it depicts sadness
while others may believe it shows happiness, and I think that is so
interesting.
