Here is the different model of services. a
• Social Model: Social model and its characteristic-personal and
environmental factors that contribute to a lack of functioning.
(e.g., environmental factors may include a lack of available
services or little family support.) (Woodside, McClaim, 2018)
• Medical Model: physical impairment, limitation of living and
work functions, and restrictions that include use of an
employment handicap. (Woodside, McClaim, 2018)
• Medical Model - orientation developed by medical professions;
it assumes mental disorders are diseases or illnesses that impair
and individual ability to function. (Woodside, McClaim, 2018)
• Public Health Model: Public health models focus on groups in
the population who may be identified by geography.
