Some of the medical professionals lack the knowledge on how to
report the medical error-There is a specific criterion for reporting
medical errors that every health care facility has put in place to
report medical errors and some of the health care providers may lack
the knowledge to report the error.
Implementing education programs that teach health care providers
on issues such as the importance of reporting an incident, how to
report and incidence and what type of incidences that should be
reported (Healthcare IT News,2022. It is important that health care
providers understand that medical errors do happen ad how vital it is
for them to follow the right procedure in reporting of the same to
promote patient safety.
