Every country should have an established official language due
to a lot of countries having multiple tribes or just a being a
large mixing pot of cultures. The established langue allows all
people to function economically and socially and also have their
own cultural and secondary languages to speak with their own
group of peoples. As said in, Are some languages better than
others?ByR. M. W. Dixon., "A human language has several vital
functions, for instance, to assist in ‘the process of belong-ing’
(2), to enable cooperative endeavor, to reflect social
organization, to display emotions, and toconvey information. It
must be usable as a means for aesthetic expression, as a vehicle
for schol-arly thought and argumentation, as the conduit for
proselytization, and as a means for persuasionand exhortation." I
believe that modern society has made certain languages more
important like, English, Spanish, French, Arabic, only because of
economic reasons, but a few languages are popular just based
on pure population size like Mandarin. Things like entertainment,
economics, and some interest of living in America is why English
is depicted as a main international language. American People
tend to judge because of pure ignorance a lot of the time. I do
plan to try to learn Arabic soon so that I can apply for the next

National language drives national unity in any country, even if
hundreds of other languages and dialects are present in the
state. Apart from a name, a boundary, a currency, or a flag, a
national language makes a county respectable. The national
language indicates the national character of a country. If you
want to penetrate and understand profoundly into a society, you
must know how to speak and write their language. If you are
fluent in someone else’s native language, their people will readily
accept you, and you can better understand the cultural aspects
and nuances of that society.
National language has a connection with the country's people
and their territory. One of the other languages spoken in a
country is sometimes the national language, but one must steer
clear of such confusion. The National language of a country
makes the people of a country unique from others; if you
respect and speak their language, it can be a favored source of
interaction at the entry-level for businesses.
Instances from history establish that all great leaders gave their
best to fortify their national language. Zedong Mao from China
was a revolutionary leader who significantly respected his
language. He knew many secondary languages, but he always
used Chinese to communicate with others. Several nations,
however, were divided based on the difference in languages
only. Countries like Singapore and India use English as their
official language despite having Malay and Hindi as their national
languages. English is an international language, taking the place
of many national languages in several countries. Still, one must
uphold their national language and not let it die. In Singapore,
there are four official languages- Malay, Tamil, English, and
Mandarin, with the speakers of Mandarin and English being the
highest number.
I have not tried to learn Arabic yet, but I would like to know
the language one day and many other languages.
