Hello everyone,
My name is charles, and am studying to get my degree in project management. Am a father with a son
and I was expecting another child but my wife had a miscarriage last weekend. But it's all Good, God
knows best.
I have been impacted by leadership communication or decision positively and negatively. A time that was
I impacted by a leadership decision positively was when they decided to retain me while they are letting
others go during covid. That decision helps me because I can still take care of my family and my bills.
But in another instance, their decision affected me negatively when they decided to promote my colleague
when it was supposed to be me. And they did not give any reasons or communicated with me, I started
feeling I was being discriminated against. That decreased my morale working with the company. Every
time I go to work sad and angry and that has affected my ability to give my best like I use to. Now am
starting to apply for another job elsewhere. All these started when they hired a new manager and he has
already given me a bad impression. Good communication and decision-making have a great impact in an
organization.
