The process of my strategic plan for the unified HIM department of
Gateway Healthcare Systems was a little hard for me to do. I wasn't
too sure what to do at first, or where to start since it wasn't an intro

that I have never worked on.
The project in healthcare is responsible for developing a good
strategic plan that is approved for use in any healthcare faculty.
Strategic planning is a process that outlines the direction of an
organization. It identifies how an organization will allocate their
resources to achieve a desired future state while positioning itself to

adapt to the change would probably be the hardest thing to do.
Individuals don't adjust to change, specifically in a workplace
environment when in some cases you have gotten use to a particular
daily workflow. Getting used to new leadership rolls within the
department since everything would be centralized. But setting Goals
and having a system in place where you can excel, be trained and
educated. Having an open door policy to be able to address any
issues that one may have would help in the transition to Gateway
Health system. And because I believe that the people are the true
representation of a company, I believe in the more you invest in the
