The final discussion I really can't believe how fast this course was it's
been great so last week I had a horrible sinus infection and saw a
doctor without leaving my house, using Teladoc, I was able to have a
face to face video chat with a doctor within my network of doctors
who have seen me in the past.
Technology has been advancing so much over the years especially in
the healthcare world that it actually makes it easy to not go to a
doctor's office. Healthcare providers have been making advances in
their technology and security over the last few years and will
continue to upgrade and make advances in the software they use all
to make the patient’s life much easier.
I had a chance to work for a health club owned by two of New
England's biggest cancer hospitals and their web portal used for
patients has been getting better each time I log in to use it not only
can I go in and chat live with the medical staff regarding a follow up
or check on my blood work but soon they will include how many
times you checked into the health club along with any of the new
equipment you use at the health club that's tied into the network will
post your workouts or course you have to create an acct on the
equipment for it to work now yes you can record your workouts on
your fit app but this will keep the healthcare in the loop Incase
something should go wrong or if there are specific things your doctor
wants you to work on he will get the updates.
Technology is constantly advancing so for us who will be graduating
in the health field we need to learn and accept as much technical
knowledge as we can. I wish everyone luck in the future and stay
