Module 6 Consumption - Assignment
Global Perspectives in Sustainability (Southern New Hampshire University)
During the module six consumption tracker assignment I was able to obtain notes regarding my
consumption and the habits I have when it comes to water, food, gas, transportation, travel, and
electricity. Over the course of three days 10/5, 10/7, and 10/9 I used 133 gallons of water,
3499.45 watts of electricity to cook, approximately 5 pounds of food, 15 gallons of gas for about
sixty dollars, and approximately 90 kilowatt-hours of electricity.
As far as consumption I believe I used a fair number of resources for the three days of use. I was
out of my home most of this week, so I can imagine the amount of use that I would have used if I
was home more frequently. I think I consumed an average amount. I discovered with my habits
that they are better than I expected. I expected my water use to be higher and my gas expenses to
